To manage your domain-based email accounts, use the Email Accounts app, located in the Email category of your cPanel.
Step 1: Go to: https://manage.christianwebhost.com/ or click the "Login" button located at the top right of our website. Unless you change them, your login details are the email address and password used when the account was created.
Step 2: Once logged in, click the Services block and choose your cPanel service to access its management page.
Step 3: From the Actions menu on the left, click Login to cPanel (you do not need your cPanel credentials for this method).
Step 4: Navigate to the Email section and click Email Accounts.
Step 5: To add an account, click the +Create button located on the right.
Step 6: Once the page has loaded, you will see several fields:
- Domain: This is the domain that you want the account to use (this is the part after the ‘@’ symbol in the email address).
- Username: This is the part before the ‘@’ symbol (you don’t need to type in the ‘@domain.com’ part of the email).
- Password: Enter your preferred password for this account here. For a secure, randomized password, click Generate to create a strong password. Some web hosts require a minimum password strength. The green password Strength meter indicates that the password meets or exceeds the required password strength. The system grades the password that you enter on a scale of 100 points. 0 indicates a weak password, while 100 indicates a very secure password.
- Set password now: This will allow you to set the password for the account.
- Send login link to alternate email address: This will send an email to the provided email address, allowing the end user to choose their password.
- Stay on this page after I click Create: You would check this box if you are creating several accounts. Otherwise, leave it unchecked, and you will return to the email list once the email has been created.
Step 7: Click Edit Settings to adjust storage space, automatically create folders for Plus Addressing, and send a welcome email with mail client setup instructions.
- Storage Space: Set the quota for this email address or set it to unlimited. Note that even when set to unlimited, you are still limited by the disk space limit of your cPanel account.
- Automatically Create Folders for Plus Addressing: This is an advanced feature for email accounts. You can find more information regarding Plus Addressing by clicking the circled question mark or by checking out the cPanel blog post about it here. We also have a guide for Plus Addressing here.
- Send a welcome email with instructions to set up a mail client: This will send an email to the account with the necessary settings to add the email address to a mail client (e.g., Mac Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird).
Step 8: Click the Create button to complete the account creation process.
